ABBA Registered Brahman Bulls in Pakistan inducted by CEBG
The Center of Excellence for Bovine Genetics (CEBG) has achieved another significant breakthrough in the field of high-quality cattle breeding. The institution has inducted Brahman bulls that are regularly registered with the International Brahman Breeders Association (ABBA). These ABBA registered brahman bulls in Pakistan have high genetic qualities and high quality brahman semen is being provided to the farmers.
These bulls have the ability to gain weight from 7 to 15 kg per week, which will lead to a significant increase in meat production. According to experts, the generation produced by using their semen in local cows through artificial insemination will be healthier, faster growing and will produce better meat.
On the other hand, Holstein Friesian bulls with high genetic quality to increase milk production will also reach Pakistan by May 15, which is expected to significantly improve the breed of dairy animals.
Experts say that this move will not only boost the livestock sector but also strengthen Pakistan’s economy, while farmers will get better yields and higher profits.
