Meeting with Chairman PEMRA regarding packaged milk promotion
Columnist Dr. Muhammad Jasir Aftab held a special meeting with Chairman Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Muhammad Saleem Baig at PEMRA Head Office Islamabad and drew attention to the promotion of packaged milk in the name of public awareness message.
Letters written to various personalities and columns written on the relevant topic were also presented in this regard. Dr. Muhammad Jasir Aftab requested Chairman PEMRA that the packaged milk promotion being launched by the Pakistan Medical Association and various anchors is not a public awareness message. The name of the sponsor should be made clear on this promotion and Paid Content should be written so that people do not consider it as the personal opinion of professionals and anchors and take it as an advertisement. In this regard, Islamabad Friends of the Country Association and other organizations are also contacting PEMRA and other institutions.
