Chief of Army Staff addressed the National Farmers Convention. He highlighted the importance of livestock and agriculture sectors. He said agriculture and animal husbandry were professions akin to prophethood. Army Chief said the Green Pakistan Initiative aimed to prioritize the agriculture sector. Its significant share would go to provinces. Furthermore, the rest will be reserved for farmers and agricultural research. He said agricultural malls in every district will facilitate the farmers. Farmers will find easy loans, efficient cold storage, climate-resistant seeds, and genetically improved livestock, as well.
