Foot and Mouth Disease Free Zone – Workshop

Livestock Department Punjab organized a training workshop on FMD Control. Trade and Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) also collaborated. This workshop focused on the development of FMD Free Compartment. Besides meat exporters, feedlot farmers and professionals also joined this training. During the workshop, experts highlighted the different aspects of prevention and control of FMD. They especially focused on the requirements of Chinese Authorities in the context of livestock exports. They elaborated the requirements and steps to get disease-free status.
