Drought has dried up many parts of a river in central Texas, revealing 113-million-year-old dinosaur footprints. Many states in the US experienced extreme heat this year , but more effect was seen in Texas. An ancient treasure has revealed as a result of drought in Dinosaur Valley State Park. However , Scientist believe that these footprints are 11 million years old.Due to severe dry weather Paluxy river has completely dried up, as a result foot prints revealed. Firstly , a child George discovered these while playing around river in 1909.

Later. in 1937 a paleontologist R.T. Bird has visited the park in search of fossils and found tracks.He has identified the prints and these are on display in American Museum of Natural History in New York city. In normal conditions these areas remained hidden under water and covered with mud. June of this year was the hottest June on record.The river has never dried up like this.
