Distribution of Camel in Balochistan By Livestock Department Balochistan
Secretary Livestock Balochistan Dosteen Jamaldini said that the government is utilizing the available resources to provide basic facilities to the livestock farmers including distribution of camel. In this regard, good breed camels will be distributed among the livestock farmers to increase the livestock population in remote areas of Balochistan.
He expressed these views during the inspection of various departments and the under-construction farm and civil veterinary dispensary in Shahugadhi, Asfandabad, New Jungleyan, Washak. Director General Research Dr. Shahid Amin, Divisional Director Kalat Dr. Liaqat Sajidi, Deputy Director Livestock Washak Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Issazai were also present on the occasion. While Deputy Director Washak Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Issazai briefed the Secretary Livestock Balochistan about the institution.
On this occasion, Secretary Livestock Balochistan Dosteen Jamaldini said that the under-construction farm should be completed within the stipulated time as per the standards and directed the Divisional Director to submit a report on the collapsed building of the Civil Veterinary Dispensary as soon as possible so that the collapsed building can be reconstructed.
The livelihood of the people of Balochistan depends on livestock, but due to the recent drought, the livestock here, especially the camel breed, has been greatly affected. He said that the Balochistan government is paying special attention to the livestock sector like other sectors so that along with providing financial assistance to the livestock owners here, their livestock and pastures can be protected.
