International Poultry Expo 2025, organized by Pakistan Poultry Association – Special Report
The International Poultry Expo 2025 was organized by the Pakistan Poultry Association. IPEX 2025 was held at the Expo Center Lahore from October 23 to 25. This year, the poultry exhibition 2025 was celebrated as its Silver Jubilee edition. This elaborates the details of the three-day activities during this event, including the Poultry Science Conference and the Interactive Session.
The opening ceremony of the expo was attended by Provincial Minister for Livestock Punjab Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani, while the closing ceremony was specially attended by Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain.
Chairman Pakistan Poultry Association Abdul Basit, Senior Vice Chairman Ghulam Khaliq, Vice Chairman Northern Zone Malik Muhammad Sharif, Vice Chairman Southern Zone Lal Bakhsh Kalachi, Chief Organizer Abdul Hai Mehta, Khalil Sattar, Khaleeq Arshad, Dr. FM Sabir, Dr. Mustafa Kamal, Basharat Khaleeq, Malik Muhammad Sajid Awan, Vice Chancellor Veterinary University Lahore Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younis, Mian Sohaib Javed, Dr. Muhammad Amjad, Secretary Expo Shafiq Ahmed, Dr. Shahzad Naveed Jadoon and other representatives and officials of Pakistan Poultry Association were also involved in the activities.
Organizing Committee of International Poultry Expo 2025
The Chief Organizer of IPEX 2025 was Abdul Hai Mehta. Chairman of the Expo was Malik Muhammad Sharif while the Secretary Expo was Shafiq Ahmed. Furthermore, responsibilities were assigned to various committees and conveners by the administration. These included Dr. Muhammad Mustafa Kamal (Interactive Session), Basharat Khaliq and Sohail Ahmed (Branding and Display), Dr. Hanif Nazir (Technical Sessions), Dr. Mazhar Iqbal (Souvenir), Malik Muhammad Sajid Awan (Registration), and Shafiq Ahmed as Secretary IPEX.
Abdul Hai Mehta, Chief Organizer of International Poultry Expo 2025, said that IPEX has grown from a small event to become the largest and most influential poultry exhibition in the region in the last twenty-five years. The Expo highlighted the latest global trends, technological advancements, and other aspects of the poultry industry. All stakeholders of the poultry industry got an opportunity to gather on one platform. He congratulated the Management Committee and PPA for organizing a successful poultry exhibition 2025.
First Day of International Poultry Expo 2025
Minister for Livestock, Punjab Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani was the Chief guest of the inaugural session. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the Provincial Minister said that thanks to this effort of the Pakistan Poultry Association, domestic and foreign investors have got the opportunity to gather on a single platform. The poultry industry is not only fulfilling the domestic needs but is also contributing to exports, he added. He assured that the Punjab government stands with the poultry sector and is ensuring the provision of facilities.
Chairman of the Pakistan Poultry Association Abdul Basit said that events like the International Poultry Expo not only promote mutual cooperation among stakeholders but also play an important role in the exchange of information and the stability and development of the industry.

Expo Chairman and PPA Vice Chairman Malik Muhammad Sharif said that IPEX 2025 provided excellent opportunities for the promotion of modern technology, industry development, and business linkages.
Details of Second Day Activities
Poultry Science Conference
A Poultry Science Conference was also organized on the first day of the Poultry Exhibition 2025 in collaboration with the Veterinary University Lahore. The convener of this conference was Dr. Hanif Nazir Chaudhry while the chief organizer was Professor Aamir Ghafoor Bajwa. The first position for the best research was won by Manahel Ashraf, while the second position was won by Noorul Ain.
Second Day of IPEX 2025
An interactive session was organized on the second day of the IPEX 2025. Prominent personalities of the country, including journalists Imran Yaqoob, Arif Hameed Bhatti, anchor Ayesha Jahanzeb, cricketer Abdul Razaq, actors Usman Pirzada, Fiza Ali and poet Ahmed Saeed participated. The session highlighted the nutritional properties and importance of poultry products. A quiz competition was also organized in the interactive session of Poultry Exhibition 2025 in collaboration with UVAS Lahore.
Stalls at International Poultry Expo 2025
A large number of stalls of domestic and foreign companies belonging to poultry feeding, breeding, health, diagnostics, production, processing, machinery, equipment, medicines, and other sectors were present at the expo. Thousands of people associated with the poultry industry, including poultry farmers, industry persons, professionals, students, researchers, and businessmen, visited the poultry exhibition 2025.
Third Day and Closing Ceremony of IPEX 2025
A large number of visitors also visited the poultry exhibition 2025 on its last day. A closing ceremony was formally organized to conclude the activities. Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain was the Chief guest. Addressing the closing ceremony, Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain assured that the government will fully cooperate in reducing federal taxes in the upcoming budget to increase the production of the poultry industry as well as reducing electricity prices. He appreciated the Pakistan Poultry Association for organizing this event.
Details of Third Day Activities
Chairman Pakistan Poultry Association Abdul Basit, Dr FM Sabir, Abdul Hai Mehta and other also addressed the closing ceremony. At the end of the expo, Vice Chairman Association Ghulam Khaliq thanked all the participants and guests.
