Deputy Registrar PVMC appointed in Emergency, Interviewed at Hospital

The recent management of the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council enthusiastically offered services for the appointment of Deputy Registrar PVMC (BPS-18). In this regard, the management did not care about the injuries and allegedly did not care about the rules and regulations.

According to the sources, call letters were allegedly issued on the same day as the alleged firing on Dr. Akram. The alleged call letter was issued as a member of the council. In the alleged call letter, it was written that the eligibility for appointment to the post would be determined after the interview.

According to the sources, five to six candidates were allegedly taken to the hospital for the interview and were interviewed in the hospital. A video link was also allegedly used in this interview. Allegedly, in the interview, a written answer was asked to the alleged question written on plain paper “What are your achievements in last 10 years, and how it is associated with PVMC Functions”. Surprisingly, the experience required for this post is five years. Then the person who was selected also has experience of around five years.

Deputy Registrar PVMC and Management

It should be noted that the current administration of the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council has been entrusted with the powers for day-to-day matters. But along with calling the council meeting by this management, a most important appointment has also been made. Further, according to the PVMC Employees Service Regulations 2022, it is necessary to have the President and Vice President of PVMC in the Selection Committee. Whereas at present only two officers have been assigned powers to run the day-to-day affairs of PVMC.

On the other hand, according to the sources, a letter was written to the Ministry by Dr. Muhammad Akram that the existing service regulations have been forged. Then, surprisingly, appointment based on the same regulations raises doubts. Along with this, the appointment of the deputy registrar PVMC in emergency situations, the alleged connection of this appointment with the alleged vested elements connected with Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council, and the alleged threats related to the appointment as a fake deputy chairman of NAB; also raise serious concerns and doubts.

It should be further clarified that according to PVMC sources, Dr. Abdul Rashid Bhutto’s letter regarding the said appointment has been answered and he has received the reply.
