
A delegation of DALFA farmers visited Vitagene Farms and the IVF Facility
A delegation of DALFA farmers, led by Patron-in-Chief Haris Ali Mithani visited VitaGene Farms. They visited the research activities of the state-of-the-art IVF laboratory and Vitagene Breed Improvement and Research Center.
President Vitagene Farms Dr. Qaiser Shahzad gave a detailed briefing to the delegation on the key aspects of the project. He said that Vita Gene Farms is working in the areas of modern reproductive technologies, genetic improvement and production of high-quality embryos. It is important not only for commercial needs but also for research purposes. Chief Operating Officer Dr. Haider Ali Tahir, Abdul Rehman Mani (AR Mani), Dr. Amna Haider and others were also present on the occasion.

The delegation specially paid a detailed visit to the Embryo Production Laboratory. In this lab, embryos of dairy and beef breeds with high genetic characteristics are being produced with the help of world-class reproductive technology. The delegation expressed special interest in the availability of embryos of Brahman breed.

Patron-in-Chief of DALFA Haris Ali Mithani appreciated the excellent progress of VitaGene Farms and said that the construction of a state-of-the-art laboratory and the provision of embryos of dairy and beef breeds is commendable. He expressed the hope that these steps of will play an important role in genetic improvement, increase in livestock production and overall development of the livestock sector in Pakistan.
