Alltech Pakistan organized 1st Feed to Fertility Focused Session under the Dairy KnAct Series. This was organized in collaboration with Faculty of Veterinary Science at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. A large number of dairy farmers, feed millers, academicians, faculty members, veterinary doctors, and students joined the session.
The session aimed to provide updated knowledge on dairy nutrition, reproductive performance, disease control, climate-smart dairy farming, and practical farm management. Speakers highlighted the importance of modern dairy solutions to improve dairy farm produciton and sustainability.

Speakers at Dairy KnAct
Dr. Muhammad Saqib, Chairman of the Department of Clinical Medicine and Surgery at UAF, delivered a detailed talk on emerging diseases in dairy animals. He focused on brucellosis, transmission, diagnosis, and control. He also explained the role of immunity and trace minerals in reducing disease impact at the farm level.
Dr. Rehan Ashraf, representing Alltech, discussed the company’s science-based services and dairy solutions. He addressed key challenges such as climate change, food security, and sustainable dairy farming. He also shared modern strategies to manage heat stress, silent heat, and reproductive disorders in dairy herds.
Dr. Saqib Umar, Assistant Professor of Theriogenology at UAF, spoke about improving reproductive performance and milk production during heat stress conditions. He shared practical recommendations for better fertility management on dairy farms.
