A delegation of the Corporate Dairy Farmers Association visited GCLI Farm Okara. The delegation specially inspected the sexed semen lab of the Green Corporate Livestock Initiative. The delegation met with the Chief Executive Officer GCLI Brigadier (R) Ehtesham Younis. Director Livestock Colonel (R) Abdul Rehman Qureshi, Colonel (R) Imran Masood Khan and other officers were also present on the occasion.
The delegation was led by Haroon Lodhi. Representatives from Nishat Dairy Farm, Ever Fresh Farm, Dada Dairies, Eastern Dairies, Omar Farm, Aziz Amin Farm, Matrix Dairy Farm, and other farms were part of the delegation.

The delegation was given a detailed briefing on various activities of GCLI, especially the production of sexed semen. The importance of bulls imported from the United States was highlighted. The delegation was given a detailed briefing on the ongoing projects to increase milk production, such as the Herd Transformation Drive, sexed semen technology, and modern genetics. During the visit, the delegation inspected the Sexed Semen Laboratory and the modern IVF Laboratory, where they were briefed about the world-class facilities, modern equipment and technical processes.
The delegation members expressed keen interest in the high-quality breeding bulls imported from the US and other countries and termed their genetic utility as very important for the domestic dairy farming.
The delegation members stressed that strong collaboration between corporate dairy farmers and GCLI is essential to promote modern breeding practices and strengthen the domestic dairy industry.
