MENTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT IN HEALTH ISSUES AND DISEASE
COVID-19 and othe rhealht issues are the biggest enemy of humanity and its prevalence is increasing day by day across the globe. This disease severely affects the human respiratory system but at the same time adversely impacting the human social life and arising number of psychological troubles in human beings. Fear and anxiety about a disease can be overwhelming and cause strong emotions and mental stress in adults and children. Coping with stress will make you, the people you care about, and your community stronger and mentally healthier.
There are number of stressful conditions which may be arisen during outbreak of infectious diseases like worrisome feelings about your health and those people who are around you (Family), sudden change in eating and sleeping pattern, worsening of chronic health issues, increased use of addictive drugs, and difficulty in concentrating and sleeping.
Reaction of people to infectious outbreaks varies from each other and mainly depends upon the background, social links and community in which you live. Remind yourself that this is a temporary period of isolation to slow the spread of the virus. Remember that your effort is helping others in the community avoid contracting the virus.
It is very much crucial to take care of mental well being during this pandemic outbreak by not panic the situation and relying on only authentic information from valid resources. Never let this disease get on your nerves and engage yourself along with your family members in healthy and stress relieving activities and creative things. Buck up all your family members, relatives and friends who are already suffering from mental ailments in a better way and most importantly stay strong and follow all guidelines by experts to defeat this deadly pandemic disease.
