Livestock Department Jamshoro organized an awareness activity on the Congo Fever Virus. Sindh Press Club Jamshoro and Rising Son Welfare organization also collaborated for this Congo Virus Awareness Activity. Experts highlighted Congo Fever symptoms as well as Congo Virus Causes. Besides Congo Virus Symptoms they also discussed CCHF Virus transmission. Furthermore, they also highlighted the role of ticks in Congo Fever Hemorrhagic Infection. Crimean Congo Hemorrhagic Fever CCHF Disease is a zoonotic disease. Prevention of Congo Virus is more important than Congo virus treatment.

Congo Fever Virus History
In 1944, the CCHF disease found first time in Crimea. Due to this reason, it got the name of Crimean Hemorrhagic Fever. Later in 1969, it appeared in Congo. So this disease got the name of Crimean Congo Hemorrhagic Fever.
Congo Virus Causes and CCHF Virus Transmission
Cong Virus Causes and CCHF Virus Transmission relate to ticks. A Virus causes Crimean Congo Hemorrhagic Fever CCHF Disease. This CCHF virus is Congo virus in common. It is the nairovirus of the Bunyaviridae family. This is a tick-borne disease. This Congo Fever virus is found in ticks. Hyalomma is the type of hard tick which carries this virus. This type of tick along with other types lives on animals like sheep, goats, cattle, etc. When such a tick bites any human, transmits the Congo Fever Virus. On the other hand, CCHF virus can also be transmitted from the blood of infected animals. Moreover, Human-to-human CCHF Virus transmission occurs through used syringes, etc.

Congo virus symptoms in animals are not visible. Animals carrying the infected ticks seem normal. Congo fever symptoms in humans include high fever with headache and pain in other areas at the initial phase. Initially, the eyes and face are red with a sore throat. Moreover, there is also stomach pain and vomiting in Congo Virus Symptoms. At later stages, there is severe bleeding from the nose. At the site of injection, uncontrolled bleeding occurs. The incubation period is 3-9 days and it depends upon the site of the bite.

The most important factor is the prevention of the Congo Virus because this is a highly dangerous disease. Livestock farmers, livestock workers, slaughterhouse workers, butchers, and veterinarians are at high risk. There is a need for mass congo virus awareness on for the farmers. Training of veterinarians, slaughterhouse workers, and butchers is also required. There should be careful handling at every level.
