A High Powered Committee is working on livestock production. Committee will submit recommendations to Chief Minister Punjab. Committee will work on the recommendations to increase meat production along with meat export. Furthermore, it will also work on fodder production and fodder export. Minister Livestock Punjab is the convener while Additional Chief Secretary (S&GAD) is the Co-Convener. Additionally, Secretary Livestock, Secretary Finance and VC UVAS are the members. Besides this, Mian Abdul Hannan, president Meat Exporters Association is also a member. Moreover, the committee can co-opt any other expert.
