لاہور میٹروپولیٹن کارپوریشن کا چیلوں کو مارنے کا فیصلہ

Lahore Metropolitan Corporation has decided to eliminate Kite Birds. There is increase in no of Kite Birds in Lahore . Especially, near the Ravi river bridge and along Lahore canal road. Particularly, in those areas where butchers leave meat for hawks,crows, kites and eagles. However, Govt has imposed ban on leaving meat for birds. But , administration has failed to enforce this ban. Birds swoop to ground level to eat meat and  sometimes, cause accidents. After failing to stop this practice, the MC has offered reward for shooting Kite Birds.

Meanwhile , the National Alliance of Animal Rights Activists and Advocates (NARA) has taken a stand against this killing of birds of prey. And they has decided to challenge it in the Lahore High Court.
