Regional Director USSEC called on CEO Jadeed Group Mian Sohaib Javaid
Regional Director for South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa of USSEC, Kevin Roepke, called on the Chief Executive Officer of Jadeed Group, Mian Sohaib Javaid, at Jadeed Group‘s head office.
On this occasion, issues of mutual interest including the current situation of the poultry industry in Pakistan and abroad were discussed. Country Team Leader Saram Bukhari and Secretary General of World Poultry Science Association Pakistan Associate Professor Dr. Nasir Mukhtar were also present at the meeting.

Contributions of Jadeed Group to Poultry Sector
During this meeting, Mian Sohaib stressed the importance of market volatility, regulatory pressure, and modern and sustainable practices in the poultry industry. Mian Sohaib highlighted the ongoing efforts of the Jadeed Group to increase efficiency and quality while meeting consumer demand for safe and nutritious poultry products. Further, research, development, and capacity building as well as innovation in poultry nutrition and management are being focused.
USSEC Efforts for the Poultry Industry
Mr. Kevin elaborated on the ongoing efforts of the United States Soybean Export Council USSEC to normalize the supply of soybeans to the Pakistan poultry industry. He stressed the importance of stable and reliable sourcing for sustainable development. Kevin also discussed the improvement and future issues of Pakistan’s poultry industry. Both institutions agreed to cooperate for the betterment of the Pakistan Poultry Industry through vocational training programs. They also emphasized the importance of capacity building and knowledge sharing to enhance the skills of industry professionals.

Country Team Leader Saram Bukhari on this occasion highlighted his future plan for close cooperation with the poultry industry. Moreover, he spoke about the initiatives regarding development of strong partnerships, improvement of supply chain efficiency, and promotion of sustainable activities in the poultry sector.
