The Department of Dairy Technology, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, in collaboration with the Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources University of Khuzestan, Iran, organized an awareness webinar on the topic of microbial agents against infection of milk components at Ravi Campus, Pattoki.
Dr. Tahira Mohammad Abadi from Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources participated in the webinar as a guest speaker and delivered an informative lecture to the participants. She explained the importance of antiviral, antimicrobial and immunological importance of milk components and said that milk contains various types of protective proteins and enzymes including immunoglobulins, lactoferrin, lactoperoxidase, which are very effective in protecting the body against viral infections.
A large number of national and international professionals, including Dr. Muhammad Junaid, participated in the webinar through video link. The webinar highlighted various topics.
