Rescue Centre for Markhor 

Markhor conservation experts has demanded Rescue Centre for Markhor. And for other wildlife species like Falcons, Kashmir Markhor and Snow Leoaprd in Chitral. Chitral is rich in different species of Wildlife. Because, it has diverse ecosystems ranging from high mountains to valleys and rivers. Therefore, a rescue centre for them should be set up for wildlife conservation. Wildife species found in Chitral include, Snow Leopard, Falcons, Himalayan Ibex, Brown Bear and Marco Polo Sheep.

Markhor Rescue Centre

Establishment of  Markhor Rescue Centre in Chitral has significance importance. Because, this initiative  dedicated to the conservation and protection of the iconic Kashmir Markhor. These animals face various threats, including habitat loss and illegal hunting. The rescue center plays a vital role in rehabilitating injured or orphaned Markhors. As well as,  in raising awareness about the importance of their conservation.

Typically, such rescue centers provide veterinary care, rehabilitation facilities. And even breeding facility to wild animals. However, Education and outreach programs are also common, aiming to involve local communities in conservation efforts and to reduce human-wildlife conflict. Therefore, Markhor Rescue Centre are crucial for ensuring their survival for future generations.
