Poultry Vaccines for Poultry - CAVAC Vaccines in Pakistan by LCI

Avian Influenza H9N2 and Newcastle Disease are two major viral diseases which affect poultry production in many countries, including Pakistan. These diseases reduce production and cause substantial economic losses.

Features of PoulShot Flu H9N2+ND

This vaccine contains antigens against both H9N2 Avian Influenza and Newcastle Disease. It includes Avian influenza virus H9N2 (AIV, 01310 strain) and Newcastle disease virus (NDV, LaSota strain). It stimulates strong antibody production and supports long-term immunity. The vaccine helps reduce disease outbreaks, supports production performance, and improves flock health. It is particularly useful in areas where both diseases are prevalent.

Avian Influenza H9N2

H9N2 is classified as a low pathogenic avian influenza virus, but it can still cause serious economic losses. The disease affects respiratory health, growth performance, and egg production. Secondary infections often increase the severity of the disease.

Newcastle Disease

Newcastle Disease is caused by Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV).  The symptoms of this disease include respiratory distress, coughing, sneezing, depression, diarrhea, nervous symptoms, egg production losses, and mortality.

Why Combined Vaccination is Beneficial

Combination vaccines reduce handling stress and simplify vaccination programs. They also help poultry producers achieve protection against multiple diseases with fewer vaccination events.
