DCFA Multan Setup Announced, Shakir Umar Gujjar Chaired the Meeting
Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association Pakistan has taken a major step towards organizing farmers in South Punjab. Organizational setup of DCFA Pakistan for Multan Division has been announced. This announcement of DCFA Multan was made during a meeting held in Multan, which was chaired by DCFA Pakistan Central President Shakir Umar Gujjar. The meeting was termed as a historic step towards organizing, representing and protecting the rights of dairy farmers at the national level.
DCFA Pakistan General Secretary Shahid Imran Gondal specially attended the meeting while the Livestock Department was represented by Dr. Ghulam Nabi Memon.
Organization Structure of DCFA Multan Set Up
On this occasion, the organizational structure for Multan Division was finalized, according to which Shaukat Dogar has been appointed as Patron-in-Chief, Malik Tahir Dogar as Patron, Malik Arshad Dogar as President, Rana Muhammad Jamil Noon as Chairman, Malik Manzoor Dogar as Senior Vice President, Dr. Ashfaq as General Secretary, Dr. Amir Hussain Shah as Finance Secretary, Malik Maqbool Dogar as Vice President, Malik Salman Dogar as Joint Secretary, Malik Shahnawaz Akbar Bhatti as Vice President Youth Wing, Malik Arshad Chaudhry Jamil as Assistant Secretary and Chaudhry Sohail Chhatta Advocate as Information Secretary.

Addressing the meeting, DCFA Pakistan Central President Shakir Umar Gujjar said that after the formation of the organizational setup in Multan Division, the first and main goal of DCFA Pakistan is to organize and unite dairy farmers across the country.
He announced that under this objective, a membership campaign is being formally launched at the national level. He said that dairy farmers work hard, but due to disorganization and fragmentation, they do not get the full reward of their hard work. Unity on the platform of DCFA Pakistan will be the guarantee of strength, protection and sustainable stability of farmers.
Vision and Mission of DCFA Pakistan
The meeting also highlighted the vision of DCFA Pakistan, under which fair prices of milk and meat will be ensured for dairy and livestock farmers. Along with this, the goal has been set to establish a large farmer cooperative society by uniting dairy farmers across the country, in which the farmers themselves will be the owners of the institution and share in the profits. Moreover, through partnerships with GCLI, Fongrow Group and other institutions, DCFA members will be provided access to modern breeding, semen production and embryo technology.
The participants were informed that the Livestock Department Punjab is working in close coordination with DCFA Pakistan, which will result in timely vaccination, treatment and effective and practical solutions to livestock-related issues. At the end of the meeting, dairy farmers were appealed to become a part of this national campaign by becoming a member of DCFA Pakistan and lay the foundation for a strong future for the country’s economy and food security.
