UVAS observed the World Veteirnary Day

The International Veterinary Day 2025 was celebrated at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. A World Veterinary Day walk was organized to highlight the key role of veterinarians in animal welfare, health, treatment, and vaccination. Students arranged veterinary camp and other activities at UVAS Campuses.

Vice Chancellor Emeritus Professor Dr. Muhammad Younas led the walk. Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Professor Dr. Anila Zameer Durrani and Dean Faculty of Biosciences Professor Dr. Habib-ur-Rehman, along with a large number of senior faculty members, students, and university staff, participated in the walk. World Vet Day was also celebrated at other campuses of the Veterinary University.

Further activities were also organized by the student societies and clubs of the university. SAVERS (Special Animals and Veterinary Emergency Relief Society) organized awareness activities along with a veterinary camp.
