CASA System installed at DayZee Farms by Geentech International

A state-of-the-art Semen Analysis System (CASA) has been installed at DayZee Farms’ state-of-the-art semen production unit. A technical team led by Dr. Ehsanullah, Chief Executive Officer, Gentech International, and headed by Dr. Warisha Maryam, installed this Computer Assisted Semen Analysis System (CASA). In this regard, CASA System training was also organized for the staff of the semen production unit and IVF lab on this modern system.

Experts from Gentech International, along with Dr. Haider Ali Tahir, Director of DayZee Farms, tested the Computer Assisted Semen Analyzer (CASA) system. Experts from Minitube and Geentech International also imparted practical training to the staff on various aspects of the system.

On this occasion, Dr. Qaiser Shahzad, Managing Director of DayZee Farms, said that DayZee Farms will use the world’s best technology for semen production. Semen from champion bulls of the best breeds of the world and Pakistan, including the Brahman Breed, will be provided in Pakistan. In this regard, champion Brahman bulls from renowned cattle breeding companies in the US, including JDH and Heritage, have arrived at our Farm.

Moreover, bulls of other breeds, including Holstein Friesian, are also being imported. Along with this, semen of record-winning bulls of Sahiwal, Cholistani, Red Sindhi, Nili Ravi, and other breeds from renowned cattle breeders of Pakistan will also be provided.

Dr. Haider Ali Tahir said that a team of experts would ensure the supply of quality bovine semen from DayZee Farms. The latest technology is being installed to ensure the processing and storage of semen as per world standards. He further thanked the team of GenTech International and Miniture for Computer Assisted Semen Analysis – CASA System Training.
