DCFA Pakistan visited Eurotier 2024

A 26-member delegation of the Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association Pakistan attended the EuroTier 2024. This International animal farming trade show was held in Germany. Eurotier show continued from 12-15 November 2024. Besides DCFA Pakistan, a large number of professionals and business persons from Pakistan also visited this Eurotier Exhibition. Kurdson Industries from Pakistan exhibited its stall. Shakir Umar Gujjar thanked the European Union for supporting this visit. The date for Eurotier 2026 has also been announced.

What is Eurotier?

It is the world’s leading trade fair for animal farming and livestock management. This is a globally recognized event in the animal industry. It brings together livestock professionals, researchers, farmers, business persons, and investors at a single business platform. Moreover, it unites the animal farming sector under one roof. It is organized every two years. Eurotier 2026 will be held on November 10-13, 2026.

This show is an international platform for the livestock industry to connect and exchange ideas.  Segments related to animal breeding, feeding, medicine, health management, and farming practices are highlighted at the Eurotier Exhibition. However, it covers livestock, poultry, dairy, meat, equines, aquaculture, and related industries.

This show also provides a discussion and networking platform. Global business organizations arrange different discussion forums and seminars for knowledge and experience sharing.

Who Should Attend the EuroTier Show?

This Show is attended by everyone who relates animal farming, directly or indirectly. A large number of farmers, investors, and professionals including veterinarians, researchers, academicians, and active business persons from around the globe join this trade show.

History and Awards

Eurotier exhibition started in 1993. Now it is the mega international event of the global livestock industry. German Agricultural Society (DLG) organizes this show. Initially, it focused on European markets, but it expanded its reach over the years. Now exhibitors and visitors from over 140 countries participated in this trade show. This takes place every two years.

Over the years, this event has become a hub for shaping the future of livestock farming. Its historical milestones include the launch of different awards. It presents the following awards

DCFA Pakistan at Eurotier 2024

DCFA Delegation including Shakir Umar Gujjar, Shahbaz Rasool Warraich, Shahid Amin Gondal, Syed Mubashir Hashmi, Abdul Basit, Mubashir Qadeer, Rabi ul Islam, Asad Mansoor, Talha Umar, and other farmers participated in this Eurotier Exhibition. The European Union provided support for the visit. In addition, the travel expenses of sixteen farmers were also borne by the European Union.

During this show, Pakistani dairy farmers represented Pakistan and visited various stalls. The delegation also attended various seminars and technical sessions. The association also visited various farms and production units.

DCFA Represented Pakistan

Shakir Umar Gujar, President DCFA Pakistan, said that it is an honor for us that Pakistani dairy farmers participated in Eurotier 2024. For the first time, such a large number of dairy farmers and people associated with the dairy sector participated in this Eurotier show as a delegation. During this show, we fully represented Pakistan and highlighted the importance of Pakistan’s livestock and poultry sector. We invited various companies to invest in Pakistan’s livestock sector. Along with this, we got the opportunity to learn about modern dairy farming, medicines, machinery, equipment, and other products and global companies.

Shakir Umar Gujar added that we are grateful for the support of the European Union for this visit to this trade show. In the future, we will also strive to participate in more global activities.
