On the call of International Egg Commission, World observes World Egg Day every year on second Friday of October. However, October 13 is marked as World Egg Day 2023. World Egg Day Theme 2023 is “Egg for Healthy Future”. Egg is a magical food full of nutrition. It has all the essential nutrients in addition to vitamins.

Egg provides the nutrients like iron, Vitamin A, Vitamin D along with B12 which are commonly deficient. Furthermore, It has excellent composition of essential amino acids, which makes it a cheapest source of protein. Not only children, but old aged persons also gets benefits. On the other hand, it also gives nutritional support to youngsters. This is an affordable and delicious nutritional Package. Simply, this is the eggcellent source of nutrition for all ages.

This day started in 1965, and till now world celebrates it every year. Pakistan also observes this. Besides Pakistan Poultry Association, World Poultry Science Association arranges different activities. Besides this, students also organize colorful and informative events at educational institutes.
