Veterinary Youth Empowerment Sessions
Veterinary Youth Empowerment Sessions were organized in Islamabad and Lahore by Snam Pharma. These sessions were related to youth veterinary programs and training for pet practitioners. A large number of young pet practitioners attended the sessions. The objective of organizing these sessions was to encourage young veterinary professionals regarding new trends, unique ideas and entrepreneurship in pet practice.
Lt. Col. (Rtd) Dr. Hamad Ahmed Hashmi emphasized on maintaining values and quality in the field of pet practice. He said that all legal requirements regarding vaccines and other aspects should be fulfilled. He thanked Snam Pharma Chief Executive Shafiq Ahmad Fayaz for organizing the sessions.
Dr. Abdul Waheed Fatem, Chief Executive of Callvet animals and birds hospital, specially participated in the session organized in Lahore. Call Vet CEO said that conducting such training sessions is the need of the hour. The purpose of entrepreneurship is for young professionals to enter into business with new ideas and unique products and services.

Professional Standards in Veterinary Practice and Veterinary Youth Empowerment
Speaking on the occasion, Lieutenant Colonel (Retd.) Dr. Hammad Ahmed Hashmi thanked the participants for their enthusiastic response and emphasized the importance of maintaining professional ethics, values, and high standards in veterinary practice.
He said that veterinary professionals must ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to vaccines and other regulatory aspects of the profession.
Dr. Hashmi also announced that special training programs would be organized for young veterinary professionals in the future. He noted that, given the current economic conditions, equipping newly graduated veterinary doctors with practical skills and modern approaches is essential for building successful careers in veterinary practice.
He also appreciated Sanam Pharma Chief Executive Shafiq Ahmed Fayyaz for organizing these valuable empowerment sessions.

The Lahore session was also attended by Call Vet Chief Executive Dr. Abdul Waheed, who described such training initiatives as the need of the hour.
He said the true purpose of entrepreneurship is to encourage young veterinary professionals to establish businesses based on innovative ideas, unique products, and value-added veterinary services. He emphasized that practical skills development should be given priority and comprehensive training programs should be introduced to prepare the next generation of veterinary professionals for future challenges.

To ensure continued interaction and knowledge sharing, a dedicated WhatsApp group was established during the sessions. The platform will enable young veterinary professionals to share recommendations, discuss professional challenges, and exchange ideas for the development of the veterinary sector.
