World Egg Day 2025 was celebrated at Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi in collaboration with World Poultry Science Association Pakistan Branch. More than 400 students from DPS, TEVTA, colleges and universities along with dignitaries from the poultry industry participated.

WPSA Pakistan President Mian Sohaib Javed spoke about the importance of eggs in nutrition and food security and highlighted their role as an affordable source of protein, vitamins, and minerals. He appreciated the university’s efforts in promoting the cooperation of the poultry industry. Arsalan Poultry CEO Mian M Aslam emphasized the health benefits of eggs for children, women, and youth and encouraged their daily consumption.

World Egg Day Theme 2025

He praised the university for creating awareness about the nutritional importance of eggs. Dr. Nasir Mukhtar, Dr. Farhan Farooq, Dr. Zeb-ur-Rehman and others also spoke at the event.

Mrs. Arjumand, Head of DPS Girls Campus also thanked the university. The event included competitions such as egg-based dish making, egg painting, and an egg quiz.
