Buffalo Breeders Association Punjab Pakistan and University of Agriculture Faisalabad celebrated World Buffalo Day. A seminar was organized along with Cake Cutting Ceremony. Experts highlighted the genetic importance of the buffaloes at the occasion. Chairman Nestlé Pakistan Syed Yawar Ali, Vice Chancellor University of Agriculture Faisalabad Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, General Secretary Buffalo Breeders Association Pakistan Eng Samiullah, Vice Chancellor Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Prof. Dr. Sajjad Khan, Dean Faculty of Animal Husbandry Prof. Dr Qamar Bilal, DG Production Livestock Dept Punjab Dr. Syed Nadeem Badar, Chairman International Goat and Bull Association Ch. Atta Gujar, Director LPRI Dr. Mqasood Akther and others were present at the event.

International Buffalo Federation Dr. Antonio Borghese, Vice Chancellor Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Ludhiana Prof. Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Director Guangxi Buffalo Research Institute Dr. Shang Jianghua, and Dr. Akmal Siddique attended the ceremony online. The team of Royal Cell Biotechnology including Dr. Qaiser Shahzad, Zeng Yi, Li Zhao, Dr. Haider Ali and Muhammad Yaseen also joined the ceremony. Participants appreciated the efforts of President Buffalo Breeders Association Punjab Pakistan Saeed Hassan Hotiana, General Secretary Eng Samiullah and UAF team to organize the event. World Buffalo Day is celebrated on March 02.
