Vets Care Club organized Pets and Birds Show at UVAS. A pets and birds show was organized by the Vet Care Club at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. Birds of different types and colors, cats and dogs, and various types of pets were displayed at the Pet Gala and Panchi Mela.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naseem Ahmed, Prof. Dr. Kamran Ashraf, Prof. Dr. Anila Zameer Durrani, Prof. Dr. Asim and Dr. Syed Saleem Ahmed, along with faculty members and students, were present at the inaugural ceremony of the fair.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Professor Dr. Naseem Ahmed advised the students to prepare themselves for the NAVLE exam for a better future and to learn about the latest trends, methods of treatment and research related to the diagnosis of diseases found in animals.
Speaking on the issues related to animal welfare, he said that during the treatment of sick animals, do not be harsh, treat animals gently, protect them and feed them on time.
He also stressed on avoiding senseless games like making animals fight with each other.
At the end of the pets and birds show, shields and certificates were distributed among the owners of pets. Dr. Syed Saleem Ahmed was invited as a judge for the pet show.
