TransKarachi has signed an MOU with Dairy Farmers of Bhens Colony for the Biogas Bus Project. President DCFA Pakistan Shakir Umar Gujjar and others sighed an MOU related to BRT Buses under the Karachi BRT Red Line Project. A Bio gas Plant Operating Company will get dung for gobar gas. This Biogas plant company will work on Biogas as fuel for vehicle. Furthermore, they will develop the collection system. Moreover, the Bhens Colony Community Foundation will work with this company.

The Funds generated will be utilized as per the charter of the foundation. Moreover, they will use these funds for the development of the colony and farmers. Besides this, farmers welfare activities will also the part of this project.

مویشیوں کے فضلے سے بجلی بنانے کی فزیبلٹی تیار کرنے کی منظوری

Shakir Umar Gujjar appreciated this MOU. He declared it a revolutionary step for the farmers development. Moreover, he also declared it the best solution to reduce pollution. This Biogas as fuel for vehicle will not only utilize the dung but also reduce the environmental pollution.

TransKarachi is a company of the Government of Sindh. The responsibility of this company is the operation and management of the Karachi Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Red Line.
