Zeba established a shelter for stray dogs in Peshawar at Canal Road. Zeba is an American citizen and working for the welfare of stray dogs. This shelter has the capacity of 80 dogs. Animal activists focused on Animal welfare for dogs  in Pakistan. Moreover, they are more sensitive towards stray animals. They raise voice against dog killing. TNVR is the alternative being suggested by experts for dog population control under dog welfare.
