International Poultry Expo 2025 continued on its Second Day at Expo Centre Lahore

The activities of the International Poultry Expo 2025 continued on the second day at the Expo Center Lahore. A special interactive session was organized by Pakistan Poultry Association in collaboration with UVAS Lahore. Journalist Imran Yaqoob, Arif Hameed Bhatti, Ayesha Jahanzeb, Muhammad Ali Hamza, cricketer Abdul Razzaq, actor Usman Pirzada, actress Fiza Ali, poet Saeed Ahmed and other eminent personalities of the country participated. Experts from the health and nutrition departments as well as the poultry sector also participated.

In this session, the nutritional properties and importance of poultry products were highlighted by the experts. Khaleeq Arshad, Abdul Hai Mehta, Ch Muhammad Sharif, Mian Sohaib Javed, Basharat Khaleeq, Dr. Shahzad Naveed Jadoon, Shafiq Ahmed and other representatives of the Pakistan Poultry Association were also present on the occasion.

Interactive Session at International Poultry Expo 2025

In the interactive session, experts said that the consumption of chicken meat and eggs is of utmost importance for a healthy and energetic life. Poultry products are the best source of quality and affordable protein in Pakistan. These products not only fulfill the daily nutritional needs of the body, but also protect against diseases by strengthening the immune system. Experts considered the consumption of chicken and eggs useful for children of all ages. On this occasion, answers were also given to the questions of the participants regarding the nutrition of chicken meat and eggs.

A quiz competition was also organized by the Department of Poultry Science of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences in the interactive session. Students from various universities and colleges participated in this quiz competition. Students actively participated in this competition titled Samjho Nutrition Jeeto Competition and won valuable prizes.

Other Activities on Second Day

On the second day of the expo, a large number of poultry farmers, professionals, business people, students and other stakeholders visited the stalls of various companies. The stalls were busy guiding the participants with domestic and foreign experts. The participants expressed deep interest in the modern machinery present in the expo and the information provided by the companies.

First Day of International Poultry Expo 2025

Provincial Minister for Livestock Punjab Ashiq Hussain Kirmani attended the inauguration ceremony of the last Poultry Expo. He appreciated the organizers for organizing the expo. He said that thanks to this effort of the Pakistan Poultry Association, domestic and foreign investors have got the opportunity to gather on a single platform. This exhibition has provided new investment opportunities. He said that the poultry industry is a shining example of the private sector of Pakistan, which has not only fulfilled the needs of the country on the basis of its hard work, modern technology and quality but has also significantly increased poultry exports.

First Day Report of IPEX Pakistan 2025

The Livestock Department and the Punjab Government stand with the poultry sector and are ensuring the provision of facilities for the promotion of this industry. He said that the Punjab government has established successful links with the federal government for the uninterrupted supply of chicken feed and greens. He said that the development of the poultry sector is among the top priorities of the Punjab government.

Tomorrow, October 25, will be the last day of the International Poultry Expo. Exhibition stalls will remain available at the expo while other activities will also continue. The closing ceremony will also be specially organized.
