Revamping of Lahore Safari Zoo is going on fast speed. According to,officials a large no of animals have shifted to different zoos and wildlife parks in Punjab. However, animals have shifted temporarily to Bahawalpur zoo and Changa Manga Kasur. Animals have shifted includes lions, tigers, monkeys, hog deer and chinkara deer as well. Moreover, Lahore Zoo has also closed for upgradation. However,zoo will reopen on 31st January. Additionally, project includes the construction of tiger houses, a mammal enclosure, Dino Valley and desert area. As well as,a wildlife rehabilitation centre, and a new high-tech fish aquarium. In addition, dept will introduce two pairs of elephants at the Safari park.
