Ceremony on the Retirement of Prof Abdullah Arijo
Farewell in the honor of Prof Abdullah Arijo held at Tandojam University – Prof. Abdullah G Arijo. A farewell ceremony was organized at Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam on the occasion of the retirement of Professor Dr. Abdullah G. Arejo. The ceremony was attended by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Marri as well as senior faculty members.
Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Marri said that capable and world-class teachers and researchers like Dr. Abdullah Arejo have made great contributions to the livestock sector. Dr. Abdullah Arejo accomplished many scientific achievements during his service, wrote several books, while establishing an excellent molecular laboratory also provided facilities to scholars from Isra University, Liaquat Medical University and other universities.

He said that Dr. Arejo was an excellent teacher and he made many students get M.Phil and PhD who are serving the country today. He said that Dr. Abdullah Arejo, being a lover of literature, kept writing columns and research articles for many newspapers, which brought glory to the name of Sindh Agriculture University.
He said that a professor should never be called retired because his research is a beacon for teachers, students and researchers for a long time. He expressed the hope that he would continue his services for the agricultural university.
Prof Dr. Abdullah Arejo said that Sindh Agricultural University is a blessing for the province and the country. Due to this institution, not only agriculture and livestock, but also other sectors in the country have developed, but the institution has changed the lifestyle of many families like us and has become a cause of prosperity for the people. He said that anti-snake venom was researched in this faculty and research was done on modern grounds to prevent diseases and the survival of hereditary animal breeds. He said that I will continue to work for this institution for the rest of my life.
Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences Dr. Syed Ghiyasuddin Shah Rashidi, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Dr. Ijaz Ali Khoharo, Professor Dr. Allah Bakhsh Memon, Dr. Ahmed Nawaz Tanio, Dr. Bachal Bhutto, Dr. Shamsuddin Baghio and others also spoke on the occasion.
