VDA raised concerns over alleged restructuring of Livestock Department. There is a plan of the seats abolishment in livestock department besides the promotion related issues. The Veterinary Doctors Association meets in Sahiwal. Besides highlighting the issue of the abolishment of seats, they also discussed matters related to promotion training. VDA says this step will decrease the placement opportunities for vets in the government sector. Furthermore, this will also decrease the chances of promotion for the officers. They demanded to stop such activities, otherwise they would go for protest.
