PVPA First Get-together held in Lahore
The first formal get-together of the members of the Pakistan Veterinary Pharmaceuticals Association (PVPA) was held in Lahore. All registered members of PVPA were invited to the event. Chairman PVPA Dr. Asim Mahmood Khan, Senior Vice Chairman Dr. Masood Sadiq Chaudhry, Chairman Southern Region Dr. Khalid Iqbal, Chairman Northern Region Saqib Dawood, Secretary General Major (R) Syed Javed Hussain Bukhari, and others spoke at the event.
The speakers stressed the importance of unity, progress, and renewal in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry. They said that the full participation of the members in the event after a few months of its establishment, is an important step towards the success of the association.
Objectives of PVPA
On this occasion, it was said that the Pakistan Veterinary Pharmaceuticals Association is committed to providing a strong and united platform to veterinary doctors and business people associated with the veterinary pharmaceutical industry so that we can openly express our problems and challenges and make joint efforts towards practical solutions. Association aims to bridge the communication gap, facilitate the regulatory process and promote the growth and transparency of the veterinary pharmaceutical industry through effective communication with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan and other relevant government agencies.

The speakers said that this historic gathering is an important milestone in the journey of PVPA’s growth, which has laid the foundation for future collaboration, knowledge exchange, and industry growth. We invite professionals and business people associated with the veterinary pharmaceutical industry from across Pakistan to be part of the association.
On this occasion, Dr. Asim Mahmood Khan announced the appointment of Dr. Masood Sadiq Chaudhry as the Chief Organizer of the International Veterinary Pharmaceuticals Exhibition (IVP 2026). The exhibition will be held from April 30 to May 2, 2026, at Expo Center Lahore.
