Probiotics Research Lab inaugurated
Probiotics Research Lab inaugurated at UVAS | پروبائیوٹکس ریسرچ لیب کا افتتاح کر دیا گیا. University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naseem Ahmed along with Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masood Rabbani and Prof. Dr. Tahir Yaqoob inaugurated the Probiotics Research Laboratory Pakistan at the Institute of Microbiology to develop and test local probiotics for humans, livestock and poultry and to analyze the products.
In this regard, exporters say that the pharmaceutical industry will help in building cooperation with the dairy field. Two research projects are being run in this research lab with funding from the Higher Education Commission. This lab will also work on a research project to control the disease of cholera in cows and buffaloes. The industry and other stakeholders will be worked on in developing the products.
