International Poultry Expo 2026 continued on its Second Day

The International Poultry Expo 2026, organized by the Pakistan Poultry Association, continued for a second day at the Expo Centre Lahore. Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan attended as a special guest. A special session was held on the second day to highlight the nutritional value of poultry products and their role in a balanced diet.

Prominent Figures at Poultry Expo 2026 Second Day

Prominent figures—including anchors Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shami, Ajmal Jami, Zohaib Butt, and Haroon Rafiq; poet Dr. Tahir Shahir; actress Seemi Raheel; and motivational speaker Qasim Ali Shah—along with other social and journalistic personalities and nutritionists, participated in the interactive session.

Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha DG, Punjab Food, Agriculture, and Drug Authority (PAFSA), Vice-Chancellor of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha and other experts also attended. Speakers discussed the nutritional importance of chicken meat and eggs, the provision of protein, and the role of poultry products in a healthy, balanced diet. The need to convey accurate, fact-based scientific nutritional information regarding poultry products to consumers was also emphasized.

Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan stated that the participation of domestic and international organizations, investors, experts, and business leaders in the exhibition highlights the vast potential for investment in the poultry industry.

Poultry Pharmaceutical Companies in Pakistan

The poultry sector encompasses a wide range of business activities—including pharmaceuticals, modern machinery, egg production, processing, and exports—playing a vital role in economic growth and job creation. Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan remarked that the Chinese pavilion and the display of modern equipment and processing plants reflect the fostering of international business linkages.

While congratulating the organizers and participants of the International Poultry Expo 2026, he noted that such exhibitions prove instrumental in introducing new technologies, expanding business networks, and generating fresh investment opportunities.

 

Other Activities on Second Day of IPEX 20126

On the second day of the three-day expo, a quiz competition was organized for students, aimed at raising awareness among the youth regarding the nutritional value of poultry products—specifically eggs and chicken meat. The students showed great enthusiasm for the competition. A special event was also held to mark World Egg Day. Speakers highlighted the importance of eggs in a healthy diet, describing them as a key source of high-quality protein, vitamins, and other essential nutrients.

World Egg Day 2026 Theme 

A large number of companies representing various sectors—including poultry, feed, feed additives, veterinary medicines, vaccines, breeding, hatchery technology, farm equipment, automation, and biosecurity—have set up stalls at the International Poultry Expo. Farmers, industry professionals, students, and representatives from various sectors visited the expo, while experts from various companies provided guidance to attendees regarding products, technology, and modern poultry farming.

 

Activities on First Day

A Poultry Science Conference was held on the first day of the expo in collaboration with the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. Poultry experts, scientists, veterinarians, and researchers discussed various topics, including industry challenges, modern technology, disease control, nutrition, and productivity enhancement. Haroon Akhtar Khan, the Prime Minister’s Advisor on Industries and Production, attended the inaugural ceremony on the first day, and Provincial Minister Chaudhry Shafay Hussain also visited the exhibition.

The three-day International Poultry Expo 2026 aims to bring together various stakeholders of the poultry industry on a single platform and foster the exchange of modern knowledge and technology. The expo will continue until October 10.
