Diseases that affect the respiratory and reproductive systems can significantly reduce egg output and profitability. So these diseases are highly important in case of layer farming.

Features of PoulShot BNE Vaccine

Layers and breeders face multiple disease threats during the production period. Combination vaccines simplify vaccination schedules and improve flock protection. PoulShot BNE vaccine contains antigens against Newcastle Disease, Infectious Bronchitis, and Egg Drop Syndrome. It stimulates strong antibody production and long-term immunity.

Newcastle Disease (ND)

Newcastle Disease is a highly contagious viral disease of poultry caused by avian paramyxovirus type-1. It affects the respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, leading to symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, greenish diarrhea, paralysis, twisting of the neck, decreased egg production, and high mortality in severe outbreaks.

Infectious Bronchitis (IB)

Infectious Bronchitis is a contagious viral disease caused by the infectious bronchitis virus (IBV). This virus primarily affects the respiratory tract of birds. Infected birds may show coughing, sneezing, nasal discharge, and difficulty breathing. Certain strains can also affect the kidneys and reproductive system, resulting in reduced egg production and poor egg quality.

Egg Drop Syndrome (EDS)

Egg Drop Syndrome is a viral disease of laying hens caused by an adenovirus known as Egg Drop Syndrome Virus (EDSV). The disease mainly affects egg production, causing a sudden decline in the number of eggs produced. Moreover, it causes the production of soft-shelled, thin-shelled, discolored, or shell-less eggs. Birds usually show few or no obvious clinical signs, making production losses the most noticeable feature of the disease.

Use PoulShot BNE Vaccine in Layers and Breeders

BNE is commonly administered before the onset of laying to ensure birds develop adequate immunity before entering peak production.

Administration and Usage of PoulShot BNE Vaccine

Administer 0.5 ml per bird by intramuscular injection approximately 3 weeks before the onset of egg production.

Vaccinate healthy birds only and follow standard aseptic vaccination procedures to ensure optimum immune protection against Infectious Bronchitis, Newcastle Disease, and Egg Drop Syndrome.
