آئی جی پنجاب نے پولیس اینیمل ریسکیو سنٹر کا افتتاح کر دیا

Punjab Police has started the first Police Animal Rescue Center in Lahore for the treatment and rehabilitation of helpless, injured and sick animals. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar inaugurated the centre. Animal Rescue helpline 0319-2646257 has also been activated.
DIG Operations Punjab Waqas Nazir, DIG Headquarters Hamayun Bashir, DIG Ali Nasir Rizvi, AIG Admin Amara Athar, CTO Mustansar Feroze, ASP Syeda Shahrbanu and other officers including CEO JFK Animal Rescue  Zufishan Anushay was also present.
Veterinary doctors, ambulance, rescue staff and police team will be available at the center. The rescue center will be run entirely by volunteers, where the affected animals will be given immediate treatment and rehabilitation support. In case of any abuse or cruelty to the animals, relevant Police station will be directed after the complaint.
