Department of Fisheries & Aquaculture , Okara University organized a comprehensive training workshop on Shrimp Farming for the students. This workshop has organized with the collaboration of Fisheries Development Board Islamabad .This will continue for fifteen days . In this training project manager of Pilot Cluster Development Project Maratab Ali and Assistant Director Training, Muneer Hussain, along with the Master Trainer, Khalid Mahmood were present . As well as,  vice Chancellor has highlighted the importance of training. Furthermore,VC has told , Pakistan has an extensive coast line and an abundant of saline water. As a result,  of this training our students can learn the modern farming techniques.
