No Permission to use OIE or WOAH Emblem for Marketing, DRAP to take Action

World Organization for Animal Health has stopped using its new or old emblem in marketing. Some Companies are using the OIE Logo and WOAH Logo on veterinary medicines, especially vaccines. They also use these emblems in marketing material.  There is no permission for this. These emblems do not ensure the safety and efficiency of the product. WOAH has requested National Competent Authorities to take measures. The Animal Husbandry Commissioner of Pakistan has requested DRAP not to permit the import or export of such products. Further, AHC has requested to recall such products from the market.
