
CUVAS and DayZee Farms signed MOU for the Beef Industry Development in Pakistan
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Bahawalpur and DayZee Farms. The aim of the agreement is to promote mutual cooperation for the Beef Industry Development in Pakistan. It includes the provision of frozen semen of high-quality beef bulls, technical assistance to livestock and agricultural farms, monitoring and performance evaluation, and other aspects. The MoU was signed by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mazhar Ayaz on behalf of Cholistan Veterinary University (CUVAS) and Managing Director Dr. Qaiser Shahzad on behalf of DayZee Farms Farms. Dean of the university Dr. Faizul Hassan was present on the occasion as the focal person.
Vice Chancellor Cholistan Veterinary University Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mazhar Ayaz said that this agreement on beef industry development will not only strengthen the research and educational goals of the university but will also play a key role in putting Pakistan’s beef industry in line with world standards. This cooperation will benefit the country’s economy through new technologies, research, and data-based decisions.

Dr. Qaiser Shahzad said that DayZee Farms is working on embryo transfer technology in livestock and modern agriculture. Recently, Day Zee Farms signed an agreement with a UAE company to export Rhodes Grass, Alpha Alpha, and other fodder. Day Zee Farms’ state-of-the-art lab will provide embryos and semen of American Brahman, Friesian, and local high-end breeds. Services will also be provided to farmers for the preparation of more embryos. He said that this MOU will provide research opportunities to the university.
