Issues of Semen importers; they are allegedly facing issues in the issuance of NOC. President DCFA Pakistan has raised the issues of NOC for semen import. Shakir Umar Gujjar has written a letter to the Animal Husbandry Commissioner of Pakistan. He says that officers in the AHC office create problems for importers. Further, they use delaying tactics for NOC. Although importers fulfill the requirements, but still face problems. Additionally, Shakir Umar has also highlighted the negligence of concerned departments regarding breed improvement. Furthermore, he says the such behavior will damage the foreign investment in the livestock sector. However, he has demanded an inquiry against the officers.
