Import of Breeding Bulls and Other Developments
President DCFA Pakistan said that earlier sexing technology was imported from ST Genetics, then cattle of different breeds with high genetic characteristics were brought to Pakistan from Brazil. Now, the twelve selected bulls of CRV, which were brought to Pakistan under the supervision of Dr. Rana Shaukat, are an important link in this chain.
With the arrival of these bulls, GCLI is providing a strong foundation for further empowering the dairy farmers of Pakistan, genetic improvement of cattle in the country and overall development of the livestock sector.
Shakir Umar Gujjar expressed the hope that these steps will strengthen the livestock sector and increase milk production. When production increases, profits will increase and the farmer will be prosperous. When the farmer is prosperous, the country will be prosperous. He said that this step is the harbinger of the revolution that is knocking at the door of Pakistan.
