Our manifesto focuses on the prevention and control of conventional and zoonotic diseases, as healthier animals lead to healthier humans. Our focus has been to educate and empower individuals who care for these domesticated animals. As the strain variability is a feature of many bacterial & viral pathogens, with the ongoing emergence of new diseases and mutations in existing pathogens, usage of strain-specific vaccine is the only solution for the proper control of many infectious diseases in animals.
Therefore, through our diagnostic and R&D focus, we locally monitor emerging diseases and mutating pathogens to produce the highest quality biologics possible. Through our in-house centralized Quality Control and R & D setup within the premises, all technical as well as testing aspects of the production processes and quality of the final product is evaluated accordingly.
History of Grand Pharma
Grand Pharma (pvt) Ltd was set up in 2009, during the post-bird flu recovery scenario, by individuals coming from a family of 3-generation Veterinarians and having multiple years of professional experience in the area of animal health. Due to the successful intervention of local strain-specific usage of vaccine in the control of Bird Flu H5N1 in Pakistan during 2006-8, it was strongly realized that homologous vaccines were key to the control of many other poultry and livestock diseases in this part of the world.
This led to the establishment of Grand Pharma, the first homologous vaccine production unit in the country. Since then, as a Veterinary Medicines Manufacturer and Veterinary Vaccines Manufacturer, we have been providing a comprehensive range of vaccines and medicines for animals.
The Grand Pharma team comprises of well-qualified pharmacists, chemists, analysts, microbiologists, vaccinologists, molecular biologists, biologists, marketers, and engineers, comprehensively trained in different fields and functions for running such a high-tech GMP-approved facility for the production of vaccines and medicines used in domesticated animals.
The Grand Pharma (pvt) Ltd facility is ISO-9001 certified and also holds GMP licence for the export of selected medicine to a few selected Countries.

Grand Pharma has national and international technical collaborations for producing 33 types of poultry vaccines using local isolates of different pathogens. In addition to this the Grand Pharma has become the first company in the private sector in the country to produce a homologous purified Foot and Mouth Disease(FMD) killed vaccine for livestock, which is duly registered with DRAP.
Furthermore, in the Pharma Division of Grand Pharma, currently, 188 products have been registered through the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP). This includes products of different forms such as powder, liquid, injections, bolus, and eye drops.
