Grand Cat Show in Lahore and Sahiwal organized by Pakistan Feline Club

The Pakistan Feline Club organized a grand cat show in Lahore and Sahiwal. A large number of male and female cats participated in the show. The owners of the winning cats were awarded prizes. Pakistan Feline Club President Ahmed Malik attended the cat show as the chief judge. Chairman Pakistan Feline Club Imtiaz Shah, Col (r) Hammad Hashmi, Dr. Umair Wasif, and others also joined the show. The club is working on cat registration and cat breeds data in Pakistan

What is the Pakistan Feline Club?

Pakistan Feline Club (PFC) is a club that registers cats in Pakistan. This was established in 2018. This club is working for the promotion of cat welfare and well-being. Their primary focus is cat registration while focusing on the quality of its breed standards. This club’s key initiatives include cat registration and microchipping while maintaining national data. It is creating awareness to prevent inbreeding in cats and improve the cat breed standards in Pakistan.

The club is working for the promotion of cat education and community engagement. It educates the members to keep their cats healthy and happy. For this cub organized different events and competitions to join the scattered cat lovers of Pakistan at a common platform.

Importance of Club and Grand Cat Show

Dr. Abdul Waheed Fatim, CEO Callvet Animal Hospital says that the establishment of the Pakistan Feline Club is a great initiative. This will provide a platform to cat breeders. This will pave the way for local work on cat breeds. He says that cat shows create awareness among people for better protection and care of cats. Such shows provide an opportunity to spread awareness about cat food, health, vaccination, and other aspects. It also promotes interaction among the cat lovers.
