Floodlight Cricket League in Jhang at Veterinary College – Season Nine
The three-day floodlight CVAS Premier Cricket League 24 (Season-9) was organized at the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Jhang. The chief guest of the inaugural session of this Floodlight Cricket League in Jhang was Prof. Dr. Ehtesham Khan, Principal College. Prof. Dr. Syed Ehtesham-ul-Haq specially attended the closing ceremony.
A total of six teams participated in the Floodlight Cricket League in Jhang. These included CVAS Desi Boyz, CVAS Pirates, CVAS Titans, CVAS Champions, CVAS Qalandars, and CVAS Molotov. A faculty-friendly match was also organized. CVAS Molotov emerged as the champions in this league while CVAS Desi Boyz remained the runners-up. The teams and players who showed excellent performance were awarded trophies, medals, cash prizes, and shields.
Usman Aslam, Shakeel Mubarak, Saifullah, Saad Zain, Jawad Ahmed and other students were involved in the administrative affairs of the league. The league was organized under the supervision of Dr. Arbab Sikandar (Assistant Director Sports), Dr. Ammar Nasir, Dr. Amanullah, and other members of CVAS, Jhang Sports Committee.
