1934 Degrees awarded at First CUVAS Convocation 2025

The first convocation of Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Bahawalpur was held at the Campus. At the First CUVAS Convocation 2025, degrees were awarded to 1394 undergraduate, masters, MPhil, and doctoral students who passed in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. These included 1025 BS, 53 Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, 2 Bachelors of Business Administration, 292 MPhil and 2 PhD.

Secretary Livestock Punjab Saqib Ali Ateel, Special Secretary Livestock South Punjab Azfar Zia, Vice Chancellor Khawaja Farid University of Engineering and Information Technology Rahim Yar Khan Prof. Dr. Amir Azam Khan and Vice Chancellor Government Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum along with academic, social and administrative figures, parents, teachers and students attended the first CUVAS Convocation 2025.

Secretary Livestock at CUVAS Convocation

Secretary Livestock Punjab Saqib Ali Ateel, along with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mazhar Ayaz and other Vice Chancellors, distributed medals and shields among the students who secured positions. He also congratulated the students who received degrees and medals, their parents, and teachers. Moreover, Secretary Livestock advised them to work hard with full dedication and play their role in the development of the country.

Services of CUVAS

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mazhar Ayaz highlighted the educational, research, clinical services, and extension programs of Cholistan University, and the achievements of Cholistan University. He said that Cholistan University has always played an exemplary role in highlighting the skills of the young generation in veterinary education by utilizing its high academic standards, research, and resources. He said that the university provides a wide range of services, including diagnostic, extension, clinical, research and development, and advisory services. Teachers in the university are working on research projects. Keeping in mind the needs of the present era, the university has adapted its clinics and laboratories to modern requirements.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mazhar Ayaz thanked all the distinguished guests, attendees, and teachers and congratulated all the students who chose Cholistan University for their education.
