At Lal Sohanra Park, female rhinoceros died at the age of 40 years due to sickness. She was found dead in the artificial specially made for her and her male partner. This pair was gifted in 1982 by Nepal. Governor Punjab of that time Gen Ghulam Jillani ordered to house this pair at Bahawalpur park. Female was pregnant and had miscarriage few days ago, sources said.
