FAO Delegation visited DCFA Pakistan

FAO Delegation visited DCFA office at Karachi | ایف اے او کے وفد کا ڈی سی ایف اے کے دفتر کا دورہ. delegation from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations visited the head office of the Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association of Pakistan in Karachi. The delegation had a special meeting with the central president, Shakir Umar Gujjar, and discussed in detail the prevention of foot-and-mouth disease.

President Cattle Colony Circle Abdul Hameed Gujjar and Abdul Rashid Dogar, along with other dairy farmers, were also present on the occasion.

Shakir Umar Gujjar appreciated the role of FAO in preventing foot-and-mouth disease. He requested that the scope of provision of foot-and-mouth vaccine be expanded. He said that FAO should assist local experts in the preparation of foot-and-mouth vaccine at the local level. Other aspects including provision of quality vaccine in Karachi and collaboration with the Sindh government were also discussed.
